Bio

I was born in Barcelona in 1972. After studying ceramics at Escola Massana, I opened the 4×1 Ceramic Workshop, a center for the creation of totally handcrafted pieces, elaborated with the lathe, where I first developed my own distinctive style. I have also worked for other ceramists, creators, and designers, such as Anna Maria Maiolino, Rachid Koraïchi and Martín Azúa.

At present I combine production, teaching and research, a space for personal work in which I continue to explore different techniques and languages.

Conceived to make an object related to food, this piece is transformed into the food itself and into its own action; it eats itself.
